Mitchel Maer for Christian Dior Choker

Fabulous faux garnet and gilt choker made by Mitchel Maer for Christian Dior. This is one choker from a collection that was acquired in 1957 when Mitchel Maer went into liquidation. Dior insisted that the labels were taken off and you can see where this has been done on the reverse. It features a small security chain for safety when worn. Lovely quality at a much cheaper price than signed pieces from this wonderful designer.

Measures approximately 15 inches when laid flat from hook end to final loop.

Condition: In lovely condition with no notable flaws.
