This lovely housecoat is an early Horrockses pirouette piece (c.early 1950s) that was made for the teenage market. It has a pretty design with stripes, flowers and striking quilted patch pockets and collar in a dusky rose pink. It comes with its original belt and the sleeves feature pretty ties. The faded label states that it is a size 42”
Condition: In lovely condition with no notable flaws. The pink buttons may be replacements (I have not replaced them).
Measurements when laid flat and buttoned up:
Armpit to armpit 18 inches
Length from back of collar to hem is 52” (minus collar is 50 ½”)
Semi full skirt- approximate hips 21-24” (the larger measurement is when the skirt is pulled out)
