Ida Higginbottom (the name she had when I purchased for my collection many years ago) is a fabulous early character bear. She has a humped back, glass eyes and has been well loved over time. Her fur is worn in many places, and the under fabric looks grubby. Her felt pads have old moth damage and she is filled with straw. One black thread claw is missing from one foot and all are missing from the hands. She is approximately 18 inches tall when laid flat. She has old mends and an inoperative growler. She comes as she did to me wearing her dress, cardigan, bow and super cute shoes. A great bear to add to a collection. Please do ask if you require further photos.
Please note that antique and vintage bears are not suitable for children to play with and are sold as collector's pieces.
